ANEG Girls Foundation Partners with Ensign Global College
The ANEG Foundation partnered with Ensign Global College (EGC) to organize the 3rd ANEG Girls Summit on the 29th of October, 2022, at Ensign Global College Campus. The ANEG foundation mentors, educates, and provides skills to young women to become proactive and responsible adults. It motivates young women to pursue their goals and dreams through teamwork and partnership.
The theme for this year's summit was ''Digital Generation: Every Tom, Dick, and Harry Must Get Involved.'' Thirty-five seasoned professionals, mentors, counselors, and health practitioners were brought together from various institutions to interact, discuss, and educate over 350 young women from the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality and neighboring districts.
The chairman for the summit, Dr. Edward Kofi Sutherland, faculty member and Site Director for West Africa, Center for Global Surgery (CGS), University of Utah emphasized the importance and benefits of keeping abreast with digital technologies. Ensign Global faculty and students were deeply involved in the success of the summit.
